BiographyI am a freelance photographer, communications professional, educator and researcher from Helsinki, Finland, born in 1985. I started taking photos with a small film camera already as a kid in the 1990s. I discovered my passion and talent for photography in scouts and today I am specialised in photographing people, outdoors and documentaries. In summer 2011 I graduated from the University of Helsinki as mathematics and german teacher, and since then I've also been working with my PhD for the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Helsinki. My research is focused on combining photography and education. After working four years as full-time teacher I founded my own business and started to study photography at the Institute of Visual Communications (VVI). In summer 2017 I graduated as Visual Artisan, Study Programme and Competence Area in Photography. In 2018 I received the European Photographer (EP) qualification from the Federation of European Professional Photographers (FEP).
