Biography

Professional and award-winning photographer Sara Bubna was born in Salzburg, raised in Austria and in the UK. After studies in Textile & Design in Salzburg and Vienna she decided to move back to England, where she worked in Marketing, PR and Media including The Economist in London. At the same time, she has been working as a freelance photographer and continued developing her photographic skills. In the years since, her work has been displayed in gallery-exhibitions across Europe.    

She made the switch to a full time qualified photographer in 2015 just a year later she received the internationally recognized EP (European Photographer) by the Federation of European Photographers (FEP)    

In March 2021, Sara won the national award for professional photographers with the best wedding photo and the second prize for the best food photography.    

In the same year, Sara's work got nominated into the Austrian National Team at the “World Photographic Cup 2022” (WPC).

"I’m proud and truly overwhelmed that my work is nominated for the National Team at the World Photographic Cup 2022. I am honored to represent Austria with 14 collegues in the Team and to compete with the best photographers in the world in this unique competition."

     

Sara is known for her ability to specialize in commercial photography like architectural-, product- and food photography for business clients as well as exclusive wedding photography, portraits, and still life / fine art photography as can be seen in her portfolio

She is frequently in demand for her creativity, her close attention to detail and her understanding of her client's PR and marketing needs.

  Whilst based in Salzburg, Austria, work takes her across Europe and further.
