Biography

My name is Christophe Mentières, and I have been passionate about photography since 1996. Based in the southwest of France, photography has become much more than just a craft for me—it is a language through which I express the way I see and feel the world. Through my lens, I seek to create images that are both poetic and thought-provoking—moments suspended between reality and imagination. My goal is not only to capture what is in front of me but to transform it, to reveal a deeper narrative, and to invite others to see familiar things in new and unexpected ways. For me, photography is an ongoing journey of curiosity and discovery—a way to connect, to question, and ultimately, to find beauty in the unexpected.
