Statement on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

FEP is organising the event in Rome together with the World Photographic Cup. After a meeting on Monday evening (Feb 24) both organisations are committed to providing a safe environment for their awards celebrations. We are closely monitoring the recent developments in northern Italy, and have already met to map out a possible strategy should the situation there worsen significantly. The organizers will always consider the side of caution. If there is the slightest concern for the safety of attendees, the event will be either relocated or postponed. Rome is not affected by the outbreak at this time, and there is no indication that it will be. While we are monitoring the situation extremely closely, an objective and rational assessment does not warrant a change at this time. As always, we urge attendees to make decisions that are best for them, and look forward to exciting awards ceremony on March 22^nd and 23^rd.
