FEP Photo Days 2017, Catania, Italy: REGISTER NOW!
FEP Photo Days, FEP Awards Ceremony and the FEP G.A.: all in one event, scheduled in Catania, Italy, April 2-3 (and 4), 2017
After Valencia, Lyon, Gmunden and Trieste, this year the FEP invites all of you in Catania, in the wonderful Baroque Sicily! The program will include:
Sunday, April 2 – The FEP PHOTO DAY
14.00-18.00
An half day of 3 presentations made by 3 MQEP and renowned European professionals, who will attest the strength and the impact of the todays Masters photographers in Europe.

– Antonio Barrella, MQEP, Italy, FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year 2016
The event will offer the opportunity to meet some of the best talented, provocative, inspiring and full of enthusiasm European photographers and see why professional photography does have a future and how it is evolving. At the end of the lectures, a rich coffee break with drinks and sweets will allow you to test some of the best dishes of Sicilian pastry!

Afterward, the FEP will celebrate its FEP AWARDS CEREMONY. QEV, QEP and MQEP 2015 and 2016: all photographers who received their qualification during the past 2 years will be invited to come on the stage to withdraw their certificate; FEP European Photo Book of the Year 2017: presentation of the winners of each and all categories. FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2017: the winners of the famous FEP annual competition will be presented with their Bronze, Silver and Golden Cameras trophies. The Overall Winner will be also announced and presented as the FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year 2017.

At the end of the day, there will be a Gala Dinner in a well-known restaurant in the centre of Catania.
Monday, April 3 – FEP G. A. and VISIT TO TAORMINA
9.00-13.30
In the morning, the FEP will held the annual General Assembly meeting. Among other things, there will be the election of the next FEP President for the term 2018-2019.
15.30-22.00
In the afternoon, for all the ones who want to attend, the FEP is happy to organize the visit to the wonderful Taormina, with an English speaking guide and dinner. (Transfer from and to the hotel)
Tuesday, April, 4 – TRIP TO THE ETNA VOLCANO (2900mt!)
9.00-16.00
For the ones who want to stay another day, the FEP will organize an amazing trip to see the craters of one of the most impressive volcanos in Italy, the Etna, 2900 mt.. English speaking guide and lunch included. (Transfer from and to the hotel)
Important to know:
– The FEP Photo Day will take place in the wonderful Palazzo Platamone in Catania (Palazzo della Cultura) while the FEP General Assembly will be held in the Catania Town Hall (Palazzo degli Elefanti).
– The conferences will be in English and Italian (with simultaneous translation). – There will be an official FEP hotel, with special prices only if you book through the FEP secretariat and within the 28th of February. So, hurry up!
