The first World Photographic Cup just opened
The World Photographic Cup is a competition of national photographic teams, conceived and launched by FEP (Federation of European photographers) and PPA (Professional Photographers of America) as a vehicle to enhance the recognition of the professional photography, encourage image excellence and create friendships across a diverse cultural environment.
The call for entries is going worldwide. Photographic associations are invited to send a TEAM ENTRY from their nation to represent their highest standard of photographic excellence and style.
The first edition of the WPC just opened and 20 countries have already committed to entering. Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Norway, Pakistan, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, UK and USA………. have all joined and each day requests are being received from other countries.
Submission deadline is Oct 31st, 2013 and the judging will take place Nov 15, 2013. The image submissions will be judged by an international panel of 15 esteemed photographers ensuring that the judging reflects the highest photographic standards without bias of any kind.
The first presentation of the World Photographic Cup and the 18 medal winners will take place in January 2014 at Imaging USA in Phoenix, Az.
