FEP European Professional Photographer Of The Year Awards 2011, sponsored by EPSONWe are proud to inform you that this prestigious international competition received over 2,000 pictures, from Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States of America.The competition is again proudly supported, for the 4th consecutive year, by EPSON, who will print the exhibition of all the winning images. The winners of the 6 categories and the 2 special sections will be presented with their FEP European Golden Camera Awards at the end of November in a prestigious location in Brussels. The winner of the Portrait category will receive the HAHNEM?HLE FEP Portrait Golden Camera Award. The overall winner will be presented as our FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year 2011. The international jury, chaired by Master QEP Jorgen Brandt, is in its final stage of deliberation. Official results will be announced on the website by the end of September.FEP European Fine Art Photograph Of The Year Award 2011, supported by Towergate CamerasureOur next competition, the FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2011 will be supported for the third consecutive year by Towergate / Camerasure insurance company, and will open on September, 15th 2011. The aim of this prize is to reward and stimulate creative initiatives by professional photographers, who may often be constrained with assignment work. The competition is totally web based; registering, hosting and judging will all be carried out online. There will be no subcategories. Each entrant may submit up to 3 pictures. The entry fee is 10.00 Euro for each picture submitted by a photographer who is a member of a National Association which is also a member of the FEP or 20.00 Euro for each picture submitted by all others. QEP and Master QEP’s may enter one picture free of charge; should they wish to enter further images, the cost will be 10.00 Euro per picture, the same fee as for FEP members. The winning images will be displayed on the FEP Web Site and possibly travel as an exhibition. The international Jury will be chaired by Master QEP Martin Vrabko, and will consist of at least 5 international experts. The winners will be awarded at a special ceremony (date and venue to be confirmed). The awards will consist of certificates and an “FEP, European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award” trophy. The best 13 pictures (First, Second, Third + 10 finalists) will be printed for inclusion in the awards collection and this collection will travel throughout major European countries.
