FEP President, Neil Warner and FEP President Elect, Jørgen Brandt attended Imaging USA in New Orleans. During the conference they met with Mr. Don Dickson, PPA President, and the PPA Board members to discuss a new global photo competition and many other topics.

FEP AT THE UEAPME GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Jean-Félix Bernetel, FEP Board Member and FEP representative at the UEAPME GA, met in Brussels with Mr. Andrea Benassi, UEAPME General Secretary. Thanks to this meeting, FEP obtained an appointment with a European Commissioner to speak about two important issues, ID pictures and digital data rights.
The FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2011 closed on January, 8th, 2012 and is currently being judged from 6 experts of photography:
Barbara Ceferin, Gallerist, Slovenia Dominique Charlet, Curator of Les Indépendances photo festival, FranceRaphael Chikukwa, Curator of National Gallery of Zimbabwe, ZimbabweMauro Fabbri, Journalist and Publisher, ItalyOriol Jolonch, FEP European Professional Photographer of the year 2011, SpainRoy Meiklejon, Towegate/Camerasure, UKVincent O’Byrne, MQEP, IrelandChairman of the competition: Martin Vrabko, MQEP, Slovakia.
The awards ceremony will be held in September, during Photokina 2012 in Cologne, Germany, where the winner will be announced.
FEP QEP AND MQEP QUALIFICATION SESSIONS
Next QEP and Master QEP sessions will be held in Brussels, Belgium, June 9-10, 2012. Deadline for registrations is April, 30th .
